Thermographic pictures of human body deformations.
Due to the temperature-scale at the bottom of the picture, the images of these deformed people seem real.
The images trigger the question of authenticity. The use of apparently unbetrayable measuring instruments for documenting irregularities persuades us to believe what we see while on the other hand there are distrust, doubt and suspicion.
