Judith Fegerl: White Light
Tuesday 04 April – Friday 9 June, Austrian Cultural Forum London

Light is the substance of Judith Fegerl’s work. An installation of infrared light, laser projections, and blinking LED’s, emphasises and irritates our sight, as Fegerl transforms this invisible process of seeing into a tangible experience. Judith Fegerl will have been in residence at the Austrian Cultural Forum London throughout April, to develop a multi-media installation that brings together new and existing work.

Artist Talk: Judith Fegerl
Saturday 08 April, 3pm, Austrian Cultural Forum London

Judith Fegerl’s contemporary artworks draw a fine line between art and scientific enquiry. Her technical explorations of vision and sensory experiences that influence our understanding of all environments are the focus of her minimal installations. Judith Fegerl will be in conversation with Eva Martischnig and Adriana Marques, curators of the Visual Art Platform, and will present some of her past projects and discuss her artistic and scientific influences.

Venue: Gallery at ACF London, 28 Rutland Gate, London SW7 1 PQ, T 020 7584 8653, culture@austria.org.uk and adrianagmarques@yahoo.co.uk. Opening hours:
Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm, and Sat 8 April 12-6pm. Admission: Free
